Terms and refunds
What you are buying
A digital guide as a PDF download. Nothing physical is sent. You get a licence to use it for you and your household: to read it, print it and write in it. Please do not share the file, post it online or resell it. If you know someone who needs it, send them to afternormal.co.
Payment and delivery
Payments are handled by Payhip (payhip.com), which takes your payment and delivers the file. After you pay you see a download page, and the link is also emailed to you. We never see your card details. Payhip adds sales tax or VAT where the law requires it, and its own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment.
Refunds on digital downloads
Our guides are digital downloads. Before you buy, you can read a free sample of every guide and see exactly what is inside, so you know what you are getting. Once you have downloaded a guide we cannot take it back, so we do not refund a guide after it has been downloaded.
If you have not downloaded it yet, email hello@afternormal.co within 14 days of buying, with the email address you used, and we will refund you in full.
If the file is faulty, will not open, is not what we described, or you were charged by mistake, email us and we will fix it, replace it or refund you. None of this takes away any legal right you have.
If you live in the UK or the EU: at checkout you agree that the download can start straight away, and you accept that your legal right to cancel digital content ends once the download starts.
These guides are not professional advice
The guides are general educational information, taken from official sources and checked before publication. They are not medical, legal, financial, engineering or emergency advice, and they cannot cover every situation. Official guidance changes and local conditions differ. Always follow the instructions of your local emergency authorities, call your local emergency number in an emergency, and ask a qualified professional about anything involving health, medical equipment, gas, electricity, fuel or structural safety.
We take care to be accurate, but we cannot promise that following a guide will keep anyone safe. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Updates
If we publish a new edition of a guide you bought, you can download it from the same Payhip link or the email you received.
Your information
The free personal plan keeps your answers on your own device. They are never sent to us. When you buy, Payhip collects the details it needs to take payment and deliver the file, under its own privacy notice. See our privacy page.
